Hiroshige - Chushingura

Ando Hiroshige A fairly famous print from 1845 it’s from one of his Chushingura or 47 Ronin story, series. This is Act Five, where we see the robber and murderer Sada-kuro Counting Stolen Gold. Look at that brilliant blue color and Hiroshige’s mastery at character design, we really get a feel for who this person is.
