Utagawa Hiroshige Yokkaichi: Nako Bay and the Mie River (Yokkaichi, Nako no ura Miekawa), No. 44, from the series Famous Sights of the Fifty-three Stations (Gojûsan tsugi meisho zue), also known as the Vertical Tôkaidô. After the successful publication of the Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido in 1833/34 (Hoeido edition), Ando Hiroshige made nearly twenty more series of the Tokaido Stations.
