The Slide Adapter Stop is designed to be removed quickly and conveniently. When installed, it converts the mini slide hammer probe to a non-sliding probe. It installs onto an integrated groove to trap the slide, preventing it from moving. Removing the stop returns the probe to the mini slide hammer option.
