The 2019 growing season resembled conventional Oregon summers and falls, as temperatures remained mild and steady with no concerning heat spikes. Early onset fall rain created a challenging harvest, shortening pick times however, timing harvest with sun breaks provided ideal hang-time for sugar/acid development, increasing complexity and flavor concentration.
