Coastal vineyards experience marine micro-climates that offer an extended growing season. The warm days & a coastal afternoon breeze make this a truly unique & desirable region. Pacific Ocean winds, funneled into the vineyard areas by a series of important valleys and mountain gaps throughout the region; the cool climate of California’s Central Coast is excellently suited for both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Soils range in depth and fertility across the Central Coast AVA, with the more mountainous soil types being more suited to quality. Chardonnay - A 50/50 blend from our vineyards planted the Santa Maria Valley and Santa Cruz Mountains.
