You will need one of these to place your box foundation on top of. The mattress goes on top of the box foundation. The box foundation goes on top of this metal bed frame. Made of Steel. The head side of the metal frames comes with attached faceplates so you can bolt it on to a headboard. Our metal bed frames come with either roller wheels or plastic gliders. Solid Steel Frame. If you have a queen size box and mattress or a king size box and mattress, make sure that you have the Middle Support Beam located in the middle of the frame. If you have just the two beams on the ends, then the metal bed frame is for a twin size or full size only and could potentially damage your queen size or king size, without that third middle beam.
