Starthistle Wildflower Honey Bear

A golden, full-bodied raw honey. Starthistle honey comes from hives that target the Mediterranean Starthistle, a wildflower now making inroads into the San Francisco Bay area. Starthistle honey has notes of almond, cinnamon, molasses, and prunes. It is a runny honey and it paris well with teas, toast, peanut butter, nuts, as well as strong cheeses like blue, romano, and parmesan. It also pairs well with ranch dressing in a salad.
