Swiss Army Gray Wool Overcoat- Used
Just when you thought I couldn't get any more cool stuff, this happens. Yes, you read the title correctly, and I was just as excited as you were when I saw one of my suppliers had a small batch of these. BEAUTIFUL Swiss blue-gray wool with a double breasted closure featuring the Swiss Cross on the buttons. This model was used from the 1910s all the way up through the early 1990s to keep Swiss soldiers warm, and also looking great. The quality of Swiss wool is pretty top notch on these. Soft, yet strong and comfortable. These are literally some of the finest quality military surplus overcoats money can buy, and I rarely see them on the market anymore due to that fact. Earlier examples will have metal buttons, and post WW2 examples usually have plastic buttons. Length of sleeve was to actually be individually tailored to each soldier, so the sleeves are slightly adjustable by rolling up/down.
