November 1-5, 2025. 10am-5pm, with a lunch break from 1pm-2pm daily.  Explore the versatility of kiln casting through a modular approach, where small, repeatable units combine to create larger, unique forms. In this workshop, you’ll learn how modular parts can be arranged in countless ways, enabling the creation of multiple distinct pieces from a single set of components—an efficient method that maximizes materials, time, and creativity. Throughout the course, you’ll master basic model and mold-making techniques for relief casting in glass. Starting with paper and cardboard, we’ll craft a series of small relief collage blocks, which will then be used to create silicone molds and plaster investment molds for the final kiln casting. Three different projects will showcase how modular elements can be introduced at each stage of this process.
