Ben the Beginner Bear Pattern

This chubby baby bear was designed for new sewers. Ben is easy to sew, with no complicated arm or leg joints. He sits up on his own and has a very wide, totally FLAT, single-piece tummy - perfect for displaying images from t-shirts & baby clothes. He has a 5 inch(12½ cm) square grid on the tummy piece so you can easily center embroidery designs! His feet also have a 4 inch(10cm) square grid with LOTS of room for adding names & dates for sewing memory bears. Finished Size: 30cm (12inches) from table to top of headl!   Make an even softer stuffed toy by using Minky Cuddle or fleece instead of cotton quilting fabric.
