This model also exhibits a date complication - a first for any Steel Navigator since the design’s initial launch in the 1980’s. The Arctic SSNAV-D is built from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with a screw-down crown and synthetic sapphire crystal, making it operational even when submerged to 10ATM (100m/300ft).The refreshed case design features enhanced lug tapering, providing a comfortable fit making the Arctic SSNAV-D ideal for all-day wear. The increased height of the 12HR GMT bezel is specially designed to provide improved grip, allowing pilots to easily handle the bi-directional rotation while wearing flight gloves.
