A play of bold colors define this lightweight, open weave style. The longer length works well with or without a belt and the bright red and orange patterns create many options for dressing up or down!  Artisan created in San Pedro Amuzgos, Oaxaca, Mexico. Our dresses take time to create. Cotton must be gathered, natural dyes from flowers, roots and vegetables collected, yarn spun, weaving completed. All this happens around the rhythm of daily life in each of our artisan's communities. At Mimi Designs, our focus is on smaller-batch collections with zero-waste designs. This means slower production schedules than we may be used to. Each of our pieces is made using the traditional Mexican hand-weaving style which takes on average between four to six weeks per dress.
