Prince Georges County Maryland, is an interesting place. A location that for a long time held the title as one of wealthiest predominately Black counties in the U.S. It is also known to be a relatively tough place to grow up in. This may play a role as to why a polarizing location such as this, seems to develop some of the greatest athletes to walk the face of the earth. Either way, our contribution to the development of Jiu-Jitsu on the East Coast of America is overlooked. It's cool though we are used to it.
