Buy in 14K Gold. This pecan is made from a mold of an actual pecan. We molded a pecan handpicked by the owner of the Cane River Pecan Company in New Iberia, Louisiana. He sifted through countless pecans to find the perfect one for us to cast into metal. Pecans have sustained humans throughout history. They were an easy-to-transport source of protein and fat for our ancestors. They are a sentimental nut, enmeshed in many holiday and seasonal celebrations.
