Somatic Breathwork Class Overview Inspired by Holotropic Breathwork (Stan Groff), Somatic Breathwork is a 90-minute guided experience combining breath, music, and mindful awareness for healing and self-discovery. We are taking you out of your thinking mind and putting you into your bodies electrical network. Using deep, circular breathing, this practice helps release suppressed emotions, re-pattern neural pathways, and cultivate confidence, peace, and joy. The session begins with mouth breathing to activate and release stored tension, followed by nasal breathing to regulate and integrate. With music setting the tone and my words guiding you through, you’ll embark on an inward journey to reconnect with your body’s wisdom. Dress comfortably, we will be lying down for our session, bring a journal and something to write with if you like. There will be time for integration and reflection afterwards.
