The Appartamento TCA is the evolution of our iconic Appartamento espresso machine with a modern aesthetic and features that take the Appartamento to the next level. The smooth curves draw the eye in, and a new vertical orientation for the Rocket logo. Attention to details The distinctive circles on the machine sides have been accentuated with a debossing treatment. The brewing group A dynamic, purposeful shape, with a distinctive look. The purposeful design conveys strength, reliability and precision: these three features are the very essence of the Appartamento TCA model. New Technology The Appartamento TCA offers more than just a fresh design; thanks to advancements in electronics, we've incorporated a range of innovative features and functions to ensure an exceptional coffee brewing experience. Stand-by Feature for energy saving (OFF or after 30 minutes, default 30 minutes) Boiler pressure adjustment - from 0.9 to 1.2 bar in 0.1 bar increments,default 1 bar. Heavy-Duty Boiler At the heart of the Appartamento is its 1.8 liter copper boiler, equipped with a 1350 watt heating element. The copper design shows improved heat retention and temperature stability, resulting in greater energy efficiency. Commercial Portafilter The commercial-grade chromed portafilter comes with single and double shot filters and baskets for your convenience. Removable Cup Warmer The copper boiler also heats the removable cup warmer located on top of the machine. Heat is released through holes in the top of the machine, ensuring that your cups are heated. No-Burn Stainless Steel Steam Wand Rocket Espresso’s patented cool-touch technology ensures that the steam wand is safe to use (only the nozzle gets hot). The heavy-duty wand has a two-hole tip and is engaged with a large ergonomic control knob at the top of the wand. Below the steam wand is the steam pressure gauge – the machine is at steaming pressure when the gauge measures around 1 bar. Use the steam knob to foam and steam milk, soy milk, or half and half for a cappuccino, latte, café breve, or latte macchiato. Stainless Steel Hot Water Nozzle The hot water nozzle is located to the right of the brew group and features another large ergonomic control knob like the steam wand. You can dispense hot water for tea, a café Americano, instant soup or hot chocolate, drink mixes, or hot cider. Water Sensor & Reservoir The Rocket Espresso Appartamento comes equipped with an electronic microprocessor controlled automatic low-water-level sensor that will automatically shut off the machine to prevent a dry boiler. A warning system will also alert you when the water reservoir needs to be replenished. The water reservoir has a generous 2.5 liter capacity and is removable for easy cleaning and refilling. Remove the cup tray from the top of the machine, and remove the water reservoir using the handles. Rinse with non-abrasive detergent, and refill at the tap. A water softener can be used to increase the length of time between descaling cycles.
