(Malus 'Wildung') SnowSweet is a more recent apple introduction with a reliable heritage and above average resistance to disease. SnowSweet has a rich flavor and is slow to oxidize. This apple is best enjoyed fresh, in salads, or sauces. SnowSweet blooms midseason and will do best with another mid-season apple or crabapple tree to pollinate with. For example, Honeycrisp, Freedom, Triumph, Zestar, or McIntosh. SnowSweet produces a large bronze-red apple that ripens in October.
