The birds of prey appear to want to take away what God has given you, to bring frustration on your life. The Ladies in White is a work of art that pays tribute to the bravery and resistance of these mothers and wives of political prisoners in Cuba, who have stood out for their peaceful activism in favor of human rights and freedom of expression. The work seeks to highlight the strength and dignity of the Ladies in White as defenders of human rights and invites us to reflect on the importance of peaceful protest, perseverance in the fight for freedom and the fundamental role of women in promoting justice and equality.
