Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut 2012 Vintage 2012 is the expression of a prodigious harvest, despite an extremely challenging climate throughout the year. Introduced in 2019, Vintage Brut 2012 is Veuve Clicquot’s 66th vintage champagne release. Grapes exclusively from Grands and Premiers Crus are used, with Pinot Noir dominating the blend (51%), providing the structure typical of Clicquot. Chardonnay (34%) adds finesse and elegance, while Meunier (15%) rounds out the blend. The uniqueness of Vintage 2012 lies in the addition of 11% of wines aged in large wooden casks (foudres), bringing strength and aromatic intensity. Appearance: Bright yellow color with refined gold hints. Aromas: Roasted pears, candied citrus, green hazelnuts, and almonds. Structure: Pinot Noir 51%, Meunier 15%, Chardonnay 34%.
