2013 Roussanne

What We TasteFresh apricot and peach, and sweet Spring flowers. A certain delicacy and nuance over the 2012 vintage, but withcharacteristic Roussanne viscosity. Wonderfully graceful sweet peach finish. Barrel-aged and fermented in fine French oak. 19% Gren. Blanc.What We MadeA truly graceful expression of Southern California Roussanne, and from a grape that can be pretty wily to manage in the vineyard. More detailed notes coming soon!How We ServeNice and cool at about 50-60 degrees. That's roughly 20-25 minutes in your refrigerator before serving (When in doubt, chill it a little longer. You can always bring it up to temp quickly). Enjoy it with many mid-weight roast meats, and/or dishes prepared with lighter colored stone fruits -- like apricot-glazed pork chop, for example. Oh my. We also love to pair Roussanne with White Stilton & peaches. *drool*
