This design is inspired by Nathaniel Hawthrone's short story "Rappaccini's Daughter" in which Dr. Rappaccini cultivates a beautiful but deadly garden filled with wonderous plants. Inspired by this story, I "gathered" plants from my own life and experience and put them together with traditional Quaker motifs. Suggested Fabric: 36ct Saltbush linen from Fox & Rabbit Designs Stitch count: 198w x 83h Classic Colorworks: Black Coffee, Embers, English Ivy, Khaki Mocha (2), Licorice Red, Steamed Broccoli DMC conversion: 935, 370, 3346, 3371, 3831, 3865
