Title: Unfolding Light (2025)  Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Board Size: 20cm x 25cm When I created Unfolding Light, I was aiming for something more than just a picture of flowers. I wanted to capture a feeling. That's why I leaned into an Impressionistic style. I used bold, deliberate strokes, especially in the sky and the background greenery, to make the colors vibrate and give the whole piece a sense of movement and energy. I wasn't focused on sharp realism, but on catching that fleeting moment of light and the powerful, vibrant essence of the sunflower. For me, the sunflower is deeply meaningful, particularly as a woman. It carries so much symbolism: light, growth, and unapologetic beauty. Every time I look at it, it’s a powerful reminder to always face each new day with openness, just as the sunflower turns toward the sun.
