1820's Rare Chinese Export Rose Medallion Sauce Tureen with Orig. Underplate

We are offering... For sale a Classic Example of the Early Rose Medallion China, Circa 1820 - 40 Rose Medallion Sauce Tureen with Matching Cover and Underplate. The Cover comes with its Gilded Lotus Blossom Knop or Finial The Tureen itself has nice Double Strapped Gilded Handles The  Underplate makes this a Rare combination. The beautifully decorated Crisp Mandarin quality has alternating Court ScenesLadies with Green, Blue and Yellow and gilding in their hair. Greenery with Roses, Butterflies, Birds and Gilding run throughout. Condition: Some of the Gilding has light rubbing from handling through the Ages. The Border on the lid has a very small "kiln kiss" from touching something in the kiln during firing. No Chips, Cracks or Repairs.  Some natural discoloration on inside lid.
