18th c Painting on Tin, Shepardess Saving her young Goat from approaching Foxes

A Lt. 18th c. Miniature Painting on tin of a young shepardess Shielding her young Goat from the 2 approaching Foxes. This is a very lovely painting, done in the early romantic style using strong colors, with a rocky landscape, and cloudy sky above. Mounted in a 19th c frame. This painting is more than likely a Grand Tour souvenir. Dimensions:                 Image:  5" x 4 1/4"              Framed:  8 1/4" x 7 3/8" Condition:  This lovely painting is in very good original condition with some                   very minor flakes around the edges and minor crazing in the sky area                   The frame has a couple of gesso edges that have minor losses.
