18th c Russian Orthodox Bronze Cross

Russian Orthodox Bronze Cross with Crucifix. 3 Horizontal Bars  Bottom Bar Slanted to show the upward slant for heaven the downward slant for hell This cross was very likely made for wearing before the start of Communism in Russia. The top bar has a shaft for a cord to wear around the neck. Old Iron Suspension Ring attached for hanging. Condition: Through many years of handling all the symbols are very well rubbed.  Thus leaving a beautiful patina The cross has a minor casting flaw between the second and third horizontal bar.
