Very Rare 18th Century Sterling Silver Cup by Famed London Silver-Smith David Willaume. This 281 year old cup has a Elegant Design based on simplicity. The Tapered body has an Applied base & Handle. Gold wash interior. There are No Monograms or Engravings on the Body of the cup. The Bottom of the cup has "MISS READE" engraved beside the monograms. Hallmarks: Date letter "A" : 1736 - 1737 Maker's Mark "D W" : David Willaume Lion Sterling standard Mark. City of London Mark. Dimensions: 4" Height 3" Bottom Diameter 2 3/4" Top Diameter 4 1/4" at Widest point Approximate Weight: 223.9 g Condition: This cup in in excellent condition given it's old age, There is evidence of a small crack repairs on the lip. There is also an engraved name on the bottom, "Miss Reade" (SEE PHOTOS)
