19th c. Pewter folding Sandwich Box made for Victorian era Picnic Baskets

We are offering an antique 19th c. Pewter folding sandwich box. These small Sandwich boxes were filled with very thin sandwiches and used with the wicker picnic baskets that were popular during the mid 19th c. Victorian era. The box hung from it's allotted hook on the interior of the basket. Approx. Dimensions: Height: 1" Width: 5" Depth: 3 1/4" Approx. weight: 290 gram Condition: this pewter sandwich box is in good age related condition  with overall patina to the outside.
