19th Century Cello Coffin Case We are offering... A unique 19th century wooden cello coffin case. The case has its original black paint and lining. It is in great unrestored condition. The case has two latches on either ends of the case as well as a lock in the middle of the case. Near the lock there is a handle that is in great condition. The inside of the case has its original paper and green felt. This case is very sturdy as well as stylish. Side of the case has a circa 1920's White Star Line luggage sticker. The "wanted" on the sticker refers to this case needing to be accessible to the owner while on the voyage across the Atlantic, meaning that this could be the case of a musician who was entertaining passengers aboard the ship.
