Dated 1766 European Chest w/ Iron Hardware & Strap Hinges, Initials

These pieces were typically handed down through the families, judging from the construction, this chest is late 17th century,  and given as a wedding piece at the later date 1766.   With all original hand forged iron hardware and rose head nails.  Strap hinges applied to dovetailed corners, and to the flat-top lid.  The chest has a spring loaded crab lock that opens with its original key.  Dated "Ano 1766" and Initialed KAD Original lock works, due to age related wear, lid slightly sticks. Approx. Dimensions:  Height: 18" Length: 38 1/2" Depth: 19 1/4" Weighs approximately 40-50lbs Condition: Good Age related condition, wear to finish and edges, some nails missing,  some losses to hardware, overall in solid appropriate condition.  Packing & Shipping would be $500
