He developed prints, drawing, paintings, and murals (including at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City) dealing with the essential themes of the Mexican Revolution. In this dated piece we see a man attentively reading at a desk, all drawn with black ink on thick paper. The pencil sketch can be seen underneath the black ink. It is signed and dated by the artist on the lower right side of the page. This piece was likely an illustration for publication, as evidenced by the white gouache. Raul Anguiano, Mexican (1915 - 2006) Raúl Anguiano was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on February 26th, 1915.
