We are offering a rare Pocahontas Sterling Silver Souvenir spoon of the landing at Jamestown May 13th 1607. During our research of this spoon we were unable to find any other showing Pocahontas and the landing at Jamestown in such rare detail. This beautiful Sterling Silver spoon is exquisitely detailed with a high Silver relief. Pocahontas was directly involved in the relationship between the English and the Powhatan Indians that whipsawed between friendly trade of food and open warfare and kidnapping. Among the most famous women in early American history, Pocahontas is credited with having helped the struggling English settlers in Virginia survive in the early 1600s.
