Domaine Carneros Brut Rose 750ml

Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé is named for Madame de la Pompadour, Louis XV's great paramour. It was she who introduced sparkling wine to the court at Versailles. A blend of Pinot Noir (59%) and Chardonnay (41%) showcasing the fruitiness of the Pinot Noir to a great extent. The wine’s aroma, delivered on a delicate mousse, hints at wild strawberries, ripe peach, apricot, pomegranate, honeysuckle and exotic spices. Despite its color, it is a true Brut. And while enjoyable at a young age, it will also gain wonderful complexity with aging.
