Scott Miller, American (1955-2008) Miller belonged to a generation of postmodern artists inspired by cartoons andgraffiti. His subject matter initially focused on dreamy agglomerations of cartoon-like creatures, animals, plants and humans. In his later years, Miller painted imagesof strange and eerie organisms that fused characteristics of plants and thehuman body.
