Black Label - Erie - Worsted Weight Yarn

Never Superwash, as close to mother earth as intended.   Our Black Label Erie Yarn is 100% Shaniko wool.  Completely grown, processed and spun in the U.S.  A pleasure to work with that creates a lovely fabric with casual drape. Shaniko Wool is Merino/Rambouillet at 20.4 micron. It is completely traceable American branded wool. It is grown, sheared, scoured, and combed in the US. 100g 240+ yards /283 meters Worsted smooth with clean stitch definition  3 ply worsted spun Worsted Weight Yarn 4.75 sts per inch on US size 9 needles  19 sts = 4" crochet hook size 4.5mm One Skein provides 3.9 bales of hay for the flock.  (Our critters consume 14 bales of locally grown hay per day from October - May when our pastures are resting. Your support puts hay in the barn and employs both the Mitchell team and the local hay grower.)
