Farm, 4068 Hough Rd, Dryden, MI 48428, USA Interested in learning more about one of the real workhorses on our farm, then our Pigs 101 class is for you!  Pigs play a vital role in our silvopasture and we want to teach you about it.  In this one day intensive you will learn:  history of farming pigs pig classification (sow, gilt, boar, barrow, piglet) natural pig behavior (intelligence, tolerance of cold, senses, socialization) the lifecycle of a market pig  gestation farrowing nursing bread varieties  how pigs fit into our regenerative farming system (silvopasture) Only 10 spots available.
