Being a healer means giving. Giving your time, your energy, and sadly, often your own health. Nurse Kathleen is a real person and she epitomizes what it means to be a healer. Caring, smart, and tough...but overworked and stressed out. I've dedicated this bundle to her and all the other front line healthcare workers dealing with these crazy times. The medicine man takes care of their own. The Healer Story Word came from the next village that their medicine woman was weakening. It was a dark time with a pestilence moving across the land. Thankfully, the illness itself hadn’t struck the other tribe’s healer but because of the constant demand for her help she had failed to care for herself. This was a common occurrence as healers are often their own worst patient. A complex bundle of plants and mushrooms was prepared and sent across the river to the that tribe’s medicine woman, giving her the care she needed so she could care for others.
