She serves as owner of CardFolk, a company that sells greeting cards and prints featuring cultural images of nondescript people with fashionable flair. The vision for CardFolk evolved from Maya having free time on many Saturday afternoons, surrounded by tools for making art, that turned into a therapeutic experience of creativity.
