Product Information Spyro: A Hero's Tail is the final chapter in the original Spyro series of games. This PlayStation 2 game was developed by Eurocom and published by Vivendi Universal. Spyro: A Hero's Tail introduces a new antagonist, Red. Red is an elder dragon that was banished from the world for committing heinous acts against his brothers and sisters. One day, this evil dragon returns to the Dragon Realms and uses his Dark Gems to drain the life energy from the world. He then recruits a dangerous army to enslave the surviving dragons. This army is led by none other than Gnasty Gnorc, the villain of the first game. It's up to Spyro and his friends to once again banish Red from the Dragon Realms.Spyro: A Hero's Tail on the PlayStation 2 plays similar to Spyro titles on other consoles. The game is a combination of the action and platform genres. The tiny dragon retains all of the abilities from the previous games, including his powerful fire-breath attack. He can also glide thro
