Within the facsimile, as in the manuscript, two seperate narratives are bound together: Rudolf von Em's "Weltchronik" (World Chronicle) and Stricker's epic of Karl der Große (Charlemagne). The second volume is a companion text to explain the importance of the manuscript with an introduction by Wolfgang Irtenkauf.   MB339
