Stamp on front fly leaf; stamp on back pastedown; list of numbers in pencil on back fly leaf.  Rawlings writes about rural Florida, particularly near Gainesville. Most well known for her Pulitzer Prize-winning The Yearling, written after Golden Apples, Rawlings herself called this book “interesting trash rather than literature.”    MB357
