A self taught artist , Vyal's work quickly grabbed the attention of fellow graffiti artists as well as galleries in Los Angeles and around the globe . This has allowed Vyal to be a continuos and important presence in the street art/ graffiti art movement in Los Angeles for over 20 years. Although his work has evolved, it is still recognizable as his own- with bright colors and refined shading and complex yet simple approaches to his medium and surfaces. His trademark "eyes" always find a way into his pieces . At times Vyal includes these eyes in his work as an spiritual offering and "praise" to one of his most cherished senses.
