Daoine Gloine (Lost Laboratory of Kwalish) Original Art

Deep in the Barrier Peaks, travelers tell of a strange sight: Daoine Gloine, the City Buried in the Ooze. Perfectly preserved, this city seems to shimmer beneath the waters of a still lake, but those who go too close soon discover that the "lake" is actually a gigantic ooze which feasts upon living matter. The city's beauty is best appreciated from a distance. Drawn for the 5th edition adventure "Lost Laboratory of Kwalish" where the city appears, this map is of an irregular size: I ran out of space on the side, so I taped on three additional inches to a 18"x24" piece of paper, making an 18"x27" (taped) Bristol board piece of art. That's how these things happen sometime. It's still one of my favorites!
