Temple of Moloch Original Art

Legends tell of the fabled Temple of Moloch and the evil deeds that were done here. Within these halls, owlbears were first created through scientific experiments by the evil scientist-mage Thessalar. Here, the eponymous Temple receives blood sacrifice from the lizardfolk, the ettin, and their evil human allies. Here, the secret of a powerful time travel device is said to be hidden. And here, in the ruby-rich caverns beneath the lake, lurks a monster able to devour any hero... the fearsome Thessalhydra!! The monster-filled Temple of Moloch is drawn as it appears in the 5th edition D&D adventure "Infernal Machine Rebuild." Oldschool D&D fans may recognize the temple map from its first appearance, however, as the 'random dungeon' tantalizingly mapped out in the back of the 1st edition AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide.
