Born from a shared Army veteran passion, Mission Moonshine bridges two crafts - coffee roasting and Colorado moonshining. In collaboration with 3 Hundred Days of Shine, a veteran-owned distillery dedicated to preserving the heritage of Western moonshine, Model Citizen has suspended Coffee beans in a spent moonshine barrel to draw notes of honeyed com, caramelized sugar, and warm vanilla. The result is a smooth, syrupy cup that celebrates transformation, craftsmanship, and the quiet art of turning military service into something worth savoring. Special note: the beans were NOT soaked in Moonshine, there is no alcohol in these beans.  The flavor is absorbed from the moonshine barrel itself.
