Do you need a pressure regulator?  If your water supply runs between 15–30 PSI — common with gravity-fed tanks, long supply lines, or low-pressure wells — you're already within the R-Wide's operating range and can connect directly without a regulator. The regulator is only needed when your supply pressure exceeds 30 PSI (most municipal water runs 40–60 PSI).  Not sure what your pressure is? Check your water supply here before ordering. R-Wide: 30 PSI Maintains a constant 30 PSI output pressure for Sumi R-Wide tubing, regardless of incoming line pressure. The R-Wide's mist spray pattern, coverage width, and precipitation rate are all pressure-dependent — running above or below the rated operating pressure produces uneven distribution across your beds. Required for any mainline connection where supply pressure exceeds 30 PSI. Includes a 3/4" to 1" reducer bushing, allowing the regulator to connect to both 3/4" and 1" threaded irrigation lines. Install downstream of your shutoff valve.
