KOCH & LOWY INDUSTRIAL SWING-ARM DESK LAMP

An enameled-metal desk lamp circa 1960 from KOCH & LOWY featuring a cantilevered swing arm anchored to a weighted triangular base and terminating in an articulating shade.  The design allows for adjustable and focused lighting on any work surface.  This heavy-duty task lamp uses a fluorescent bulb controlled by a thumbwheel switch on the shade and is wired with a three-prong, grounded plug.  The robust metal construction displays a textured, olive-drab surface; the KOCH & LOWY stamp is embossed on the base's underside.
