STUDIO POTTERY DOUBLE BUD VASE MARKED “MH”

An ingenious, one-of-a-kind, double bud vase from an unknown West German studio potter—in the form of a flattened stoneware orb on an integrated stand. The magnificent glaze is a matt, teal-blue gray with running, white, lava-like markings. Two small openings for stems sit near the top on either side. A debossed, stacked “MH” is marked on the skirt.
