UPHOLSTERED EAMES ROCKING CHAIR (RARE) d. 1950

A dark blue fiberglass rocking chair (RAR) designed in 1950 by Charles and Ray Eames for the Herman Miller Furniture Company of Zeeland, Michigan.  IThe fiberglass shell is upholstered in blue Naugahyde with an orange trim, and dates to the 1960s.  The rocker's wire base is a newer Herman Miller replacement that is clad in black with walnut struts.
