(Not Signed) From soaring peaks to raging rapids, Bob Ross’ immense respect for nature is evident throughout his entire body of work. The waterfall is one of Ross’ most repeated images, and the “Misty Waterfall” image was featured on “The Joy of Painting” in Season 7, Episode 6 in 1985. In this particular version of the image, we notice several noticeable departures, including a larger view of the body of water and dramatic reflection of the trees. The type of trees framing the river in various "Misty Waterfall" renditions can vary widely, but this version is similar to what we see in the episode piece. Although we do not know the exact year this piece was painted, Bob Ross Inc. estimates it was created circa 1986.  Bob Ross’ “Misty Waterfall” comes with a certificate of au
