New! CTS Drive By Wire Adapter Plate for 1988-98 Chevy/GMC GMT 400 Truck

This is a DBW (drive by wire) accelerator pedal adapter plate that fits 1988-98 Chevy and GMC Trucks and SUV's up until 2000. It is cnc machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and powder coated in satin black.  This kit uses the hardware that comes with the CTS Cadillac / GM Performance Parts Connect and Cruise accelerator pedal to mount it to this adapter plate.   The advantage of this plate are as follows: This plate bolts to the original gas pedal mounting position on the firewall using the original mounting hardware. It has a total height adjustment of 3/4" and a total lateral movement of 3/4" which allows the accelerator pedal to be adjusted.  Why is this important?  With seat swaps and some being lower than factory it will change the angle of the driver's foot placement.  Also, the driver's height plays into the comfort of driving.  This adjustment can make the foot placement more comfortable to the driver.
